Insurances

At Le Groupe Dentis, we make it easier to manage your dental insurance by asking you to have your policy information on hand during your visit to our clinic in Gatineau. That way we can claim to your insurance online. Since there are different insurances and policies, we invite you to contact your insurance representative to know what kind of coverage you might have with your specific insurance policy.

It is important to understand that there are many insurance companies with different policies so it is not all the same for every patient. Even if this sounds complicated, here at Le Groupe Dentis we are here to help you with your insurance claims. That is why, if needed, we can give you a list or the treatments required so you can better understand what is covered by your personal insurance policy.

And so, after the establishment of your treatment plan, we can prepare and send an estimate to your insurance so you can know the amount covered for the treatments needed.

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) aims to make dental care more accessible to Canadians who do not have private dental insurance and whose adjusted net family income is under $90,000 per year.

The level of coverage depends on income:

  • Less than $70,000: full coverage
  • Between $70,000 and $79,999: partial coverage
  • Between $80,000 and $89,999: reduced coverage

The program is being rolled out gradually based on age and other eligibility criteria. It is therefore important to confirm your eligibility before scheduling a treatment. Proof of enrollment in the program may be required during your visit to the clinic.

Please note that the amounts covered by the CDCP may differ from the fees charged. Patients are responsible for paying the difference if the cost of treatment exceeds the reimbursed amount. This is why we recommend requesting an estimate before proceeding with any treatment.

Financing

Le Groupe Dentis offers financing options with Accord D Desjardins. You do not have to be a Desjardins member to benefit from this financing option. Of course, to benefit from this service you must qualify with Accord D. Once your treatment plan has been established by the dentist and the amount known, we will file a demand directly with Accord D to see if you are eligible for this option. Here are a few things you should know about using Accord D as a financing option:

  • The payment plan is a 3 to 60 month term.
  • The interest rate varies according to the total amount financed.
  • No minimal amount is necessary.
  • These plans are always open; they can be paid off in total or in part at any time without penalty.

For more information we invite you to call us.

Please note that any appointment must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance during business days, Monday to Friday (statutory holidays excluded). Please be advised that fees may apply for late cancellations.
